Welcome to the third edition of the Legacy Snapshot research report. I’m delighted to say that this edition is produced in partnership with My Legacy and is the second in a series of new legacy research projects that we are undertaking together.
The aim of this research is to try to arm legacy fundraisers with new information which they can use in their work to develop better strategy and tactics and win more support within their organisation. Hopefully, they will find it easier to benchmark their organisation against their peers and the sector in general.

The primary objective of the research we did for Concern was to evaluate the current Concern Debates programme with a view to strategically advise on how it might be developed in the future. The research involved focus groups with a variety of Concern Debate stakeholders including staff, teachers, adjudicators and students.
Running over several months, the research provided instrumental insights that have been used to inform the online survey part of the research project.
As part of our work with Temple Street Foundation on their new brand and messaging, we completed qualitative research to tap into the opinion of both donors and non-donors of the new brand approaches.
The research took place over the summer and included a mix of focus groups of both donor and non-donor groups based in Dublin and Galway.
